About the President…
Frank
Zipfel has been a professional in the IT field since the mid 1980's. He has experience with and holds
certifications in Microsoft Networking, Information Security (CISSP,
SANS GSEC, SANS GGSC), and general networking infrastructure. Frank has taught the SANS
GSEC and GGSC computer security courses as a local mentor in the Orange County area to Fortune 100 companies,
local government, and law enforcement. Frank
has been published by the Orange County Register in an article
highlighting the insecurities of current wireless networking
technologies.
While certifications are an important indicator of
competence and future success, Frank also brings a unique understanding
of the Hacker mentality to the table. He
strongly believes that to be successful in the field of Information
Security, you must understand the motives and methods of would-be
attackers.
